Relieve Pain with Traditional Medicine

Have you already tried many things to relieve your chronic pain or discomfort, but nothing has really helped in the long term? Do you feel trapped by your symptoms – be it back pain, migraines or sleep disorders? Do you long for a solution that not only frees you in the short term, but leads to a better quality of life in the long term? Acupuncture could be the key to your healing. This age-old method from Traditional Chinese Medicine helps to restore the body’s balance and activate your natural self-healing powers.

On the History of Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing methods in the world and originated over 2,000 years ago in China. Chinese medicine assumes that the body is traversed by energy channels, the so-called “meridians”. If this energy, also called “Qi”, is blocked or out of balance, complaints and illnesses can arise. By placing fine needles at specific points along these meridians, the energy can be brought back into flow. Over the centuries, acupuncture has been refined and has now established itself in Western medicine as an effective therapy.

Areas of Application of Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be used for a variety of complaints, especially those that are difficult to treat with conventional methods. The most common areas of application include:

  • Chronic pain: back pain, neck pain, joint pain, migraines, osteoarthritis.
  • Stress and emotional blockages: anxiety, nervousness, depressive moods, sleep disorders.
  • Digestive problems: irritable bowel syndrome, bloating, constipation.
  • Gynecology: Menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, hormonal imbalances.
  • Conditional and general health problems: exhaustion, fatigue, immune strengthening, respiratory diseases.

About the Treatment Method

Acupuncture is a gentle but extremely precise method that targets the body’s own self-healing powers. During a session, very fine needles are placed at specific points on your body to get the Qi flowing again and release blockages. These needles are very thin and usually do not cause any pain – many patients find them pleasant and relaxing. In a session, a variety of acupuncture points are treated as needed, individually tailored to your needs. Acupuncture is a holistic treatment method that addresses both physical and emotional complaints.

Treatment Duration

The duration of treatment varies depending on the type and severity of the complaints. As a rule, a session lasts 30 min. Acute complaints can often be noticeably alleviated after just a few sessions. For chronic or deeper complaints, several sessions are necessary to achieve a lasting improvement. As a rule, 5 to 10 sessions are recommended to achieve the best possible results. The exact number and frequency of sessions will be individually tailored to your complaints and your healing process.
